PROF. SHULAN TANG
Shulan has been treating patients in Manchester with her unique and heartfelt approach since 1991. Each patient is given care and attention allowing them to relax and feel, perhaps for the first time, that their troubling condition will be solved.
Prof. Shulan Tang trained for 8 years in two of the most prestigious universities in China and graduated from Nanjing TCM University in 1984. She gained her Master’s degree in TCM prescriptions from Beijing TCM University in 1987.

It is difficult to believe that this humble and gentle soul is so highly regarded in her field, Vice President of the World Federation of TCM Gynaecology committee as well as being principle of the Shulan College of Chinese Medicine. She continues to lecture all over the world sharing her passion and in depth knowledge with colleagues and students, but to her patients she is Shulan which in Chinese means “Gentle Orchid”.

INFERTILITY
"I am 32 years old. I came to see Shulan in September 2014. I have tried to have a baby for 14 years and had IVF four times. Since I came to see Shulan, I was prescribed Chinese herbs to improve the regularity of my menstrual cycle and help me to conceive. I saw Shulan every two weeks to modify my herbs as my symptoms began to change. After 3 months of herbs I became pregnant. Dr Shulan continued with the medicine to prevent any miscarriage. "I took my daughter to Shulan when she was 4 years old, her eczema had been getting worse and she was scratching so much she made her skin bleed.
